Grocery Team Member

About the role

The Fresh Market’s mission is to make everyday eating extraordinary for guests, and we seek a team member committed to helping deliver on that mission. Team members are expected to work across any department, including Deli, Meat & Seafood, Bakery, Grocery, Produce & Floral, and Front‑End.

Responsibilities

• Consistently provide excellent guest service, which includes engaging with guests to learn their wants and needs to help them create their meal solution.
• Maintain knowledge of products and weekly ad items throughout the store and work across departments to assist guests.
• Create a hospitable shopping experience by merchandising and stocking products and specialty items throughout the day while assisting nearby guests.
• Gather shopping carts from the parking lot and assist in general housekeeping duties throughout the store.
• Present self in a professional manner, including adhering to uniform standards.

Qualifications

• A passion for providing extraordinary service.
• At least 16 years of age.
