Part Time: Night Shift - Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, & Saturday from 8:30pm until tasks are complete
About the Role
We’re hiring Custodians to help keep things clean and running smoothly. No prior experience is required—we’ll train you and ensure you feel confident every step of the way.
Responsibilities
- Sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors
- Taking out trash and replacing liners
- Cleaning restrooms, refilling supplies, and wiping down surfaces (tables, chairs, doors, etc.)
- Dusting furniture, shelves, and vents
- Wiping windows, mirrors, and glass doors
- Conducting a final walkthrough to ensure cleanliness before ending your shift
- Returning tools and supplies to storage
Requirements
- Willingness to learn new tasks
- Ability to work well with teammates and supervisors
- Friendly, can-do attitude
- Ability to stay focused and give your best effort
- Valid Real ID
- Must be able to obtain and maintain government base access
Physical & Environmental Demands
- Frequent standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and reaching throughout your shift
- Repetitive motions such as mopping, sweeping, wiping, and scrubbing surfaces
- Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull cleaning equipment and supplies weighing up to 25-30 pounds regularly
- Navigating stairs, ramps, or uneven flooring safely while carrying tools or supplies
- Work is primarily indoors in commercial buildings with varying temperature and lighting conditions
- Exposure to cleaning chemicals, disinfectants, and solvents (training and PPE provided)
- Possible exposure to dust, dirt, allergens, and other indoor environmental factors
- May encounter biohazardous materials or bodily fluids with proper safety protocols and PPE
- Working in confined or awkward spaces (e.g., under sinks, behind furniture)
- Noise from vacuum cleaners, floor buffers, and other cleaning machinery (hearing protection provided when necessary)
