About the Role
The Merchandiser is responsible for stocking shelves, rotating products, setting up displays, cooler stocking and rotation, backroom organization, and moving products from the backroom to the sales floor. You will accurately order product for the next delivery and ensure merchandising meets PBV standards.
Responsibilities
- Fill and merchandise all coolers, displays, racks, shelves, and/or vendors in accordance with PBV standards.
- Sell and execute all promotions.
- Create and utilize point-of-sale signage.
- Develop good customer relations and service all customers as scheduled.
- Order product and/or run invoices.
- Clean equipment, maintain backroom storage in an orderly fashion, and rotate stock.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED highly preferred; three to five years of relevant work experience may be considered in lieu of a diploma or GED.
- Valid driver’s license required.
- Ability to perform basic financial calculations (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division).
- Good oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to perform heavy physical labor for extended periods.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment.
- Must meet PBV driving qualifications.
- Ability to work hours necessary to complete assigned tasks.
- Positive attitude and attention to detail.
- Ability to work in a team environment.
- Self-starter with excellent follow-up skills.
- Customer-oriented and focused.
