Grocery Sales Merchandiser

About the role

Merchandises products by stocking shelves, rotating products, setting up displays, cooler stocking/rotation, backroom organization, and moving products from backroom to sales floor. Accurately orders product for the next delivery.

Responsibilities

• Fills and merchandises all coolers, displays, racks, shelves, and/or vendors in accordance with PBV standards
• Sells and executes all promotions
• Creates and utilizes point‑of‑sale signage
• Develops good customer relations
• Services all customers as scheduled
• Orders product and/or runs invoices
• Cleans equipment, maintains backroom storage in an orderly fashion, and rotates stock
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED highly preferred; three to five years of relevant work experience may be considered in lieu of a high school diploma or GED
• Valid driver's license required
• Ability to perform basic financial calculations (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division)
• Good oral and written communication skills
• Ability to perform heavy physical labor for extended periods of time
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced, ever‑changing environment
• Ability to meet PBV driving qualifications
• Ability to work hours necessary to complete assigned tasks
• Positive attitude and attention to detail
• Ability to work in a team environment
• Self‑starter with excellent follow‑up skills
• Customer‑oriented and focused
