Main Responsibilities
- Aid the Grocery Manager in the daily operation of the Grocery Department, including Frozen, Dairy, and Liquor/Beer departments.
- Supervise, train, and support department associates to ensure operational excellence and exceptional customer service.
- Perform and oversee ordering, receiving, storing, pricing, stocking, and merchandising activities.
- Resolve customer concerns professionally and promote a positive shopping experience.
- Afford and oversee the implementation of merchandising plans, seasonal programs, and promotional initiatives.
- Maintain inventory, control shrink, ensure product quality, and prevent the sale of out-of-code merchandise.
- Monitor store operations and supervise associates in the absence of the Store Director or Grocery Manager.
- Handle cash management responsibilities, including accountability for register funds and related documentation.
- Support emergency response procedures and maintain operational continuity during equipment or system issues.
