About the role

This is a physically active role with serious rewards and a supportive environment, plus real work-life balance. Limited openings are available for experienced Warehouse Selectors in Brattleboro, VT.

• $24/hr starting pay from Day 1 while in training
• 4-day work week with 8:00 AM start times – enjoy your weekends
• Ambient-temperature Grocery section – no freezer work
• $28+/hr average after training with regular performance incentives

Responsibilities

• Pick various items by using order sheets or an audio headset
• Stack items on a pallet for wrapping and loading at the bay doors
• Ensure accuracy to orders while adhering to safety standards
• Operate a double walkie-rider or electric pallet jack to remove cases of products from storage rack, place on pallet, and apply selection labels
• Utilize proper wrapping techniques to ensure safety of product and prevent damages
• Inform Supervisor of any differences in case quantity and/or description
• Perform equipment inspections and complete appropriate forms
• Frequent safe lifting of varying case weight, shape, and height levels
• Follow all material handling equipment safe operating procedures

Physical demands include:

• Continually standing, bending, pulling, lifting, pivoting up to 90% of shift
• Walking between 6-12 miles per day on various surfaces including concrete, tile, carpet
• Frequently lifting product weighing between 1 - 60 lbs. or more
• Frequent lifting of product ranging from floor to overhead
• Safe handling of sharp objects including box cutting tools
• Possibility of working on multiple levels of varying height

Requirements

• High School Diploma or General Equivalency Diploma (GED)
• Experience as a Warehouse Selector
