GROCERY-NITE/CLERK

Responsibilities

• Cultivate a professional and positive demeanor, reflecting positively on the company.
• Engage courteously and assist customers and colleagues with their inquiries and needs.
• Comply with all company policies and operational procedures.
• Adhere to shrink guidelines and ensure accurate inventory management.
• Unload and sort merchandise from delivery vehicles into appropriate storage areas.
• Load merchandise onto carts for placement on sales floor shelves.
• Read and understand shelf and merchandise labels.
• Attach price labels to items and prepare them for sale.
• Stock shelves and build special sales displays on the sales floor.
• Operate manual and powered equipment such as pallet-jacks, stackers, and straddle stackers.

Qualifications

• Desired previous experience in a similar retail or customer service role.
