Responsibilities
- Establish and maintain a safe and clean environment
- Aid in achieving sales and profit goals
- Maintain quality assurance standards
- Communicate effectively with customers and associates
- Answer questions about products and grocery specials
- Offer product samples and suggest new items
- Check product quality and report discrepancies
- Label, stock, and inventory department merchandise
- Stay updated with store promotions and adhere to food safety regulations
- Ensure proper storage temperatures and report any unsafe conditions
- Report accidents, safety risks, and illegal activities
Qualifications
- Minimum age of 18
- Ability to handle stressful situations
- Basic math skills (counting, addition, subtraction)
- Retail experience preferred
- Desired: Second language proficiency (speaking, reading, writing)
- Positive attitude and ability to promote trust and respect
