About the Role

As a Food Clerk, you play a key role in creating a fresh, welcoming, and well-run store experience within our Fresh departments. You’ll help families put food on their tables and create moments of connection every day in a fast-paced environment. If you enjoy working with food, helping customers, and staying active, this role could be a great fit.

Responsibilities

• Build positive connections with customers and teammates
• Share product knowledge and help customers find what they need
• Maintain full, fresh, and visually appealing product displays
• Stock, rotate, and merchandise product according to standards
• Use technology to complete tasks efficiently and accurately
• Follow food safety, sanitation, and quality procedures
• Work across departments including Meat, Seafood, Bakery, Deli, Produce and Grocery
• Support other tasks as needed to keep operations running smoothly

• Attention to detail and ability to stay organized
• Ability to follow processes and safety standards
• Calm, focused approach in a fast-paced environment
• Willingness to be physically active, including lifting, bending, twisting, and standing for extended periods
• Passion for working with customers every day
• Previous retail or food service experience is helpful, but not required
