Grocery Clerk ELR

Position Summary

The Grocery Clerk at El Rancho Supermercado will be friendly and a team player, ensuring the grocery area is well maintained and running efficiently. They will also provide exceptional service and assist customers with their inquiries.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Stock, rotate, and organize items on shelves
• Provide exceptional service and ensure the freshest product is available to customers
• Address inquiries and assist customers with locating items throughout the store
• Receive product deliveries and ensure accuracy of items
• Maintain clean shelves, racks, and aisles of the store
• Provide flexibility by helping in any area to support store needs

Skills And Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Grocery/produce experience desirable
• Customer Service experience desirable

Physical Demands And Work Conditions

• WALKING: Continuously, throughout shift, while moving about the store and handling merchandise
• STANDING: Continuously, throughout shift
• LIFTING: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and occasionally lift up to 75 lbs.
