Based in Indiana, Jay C merged with The Kroger Company in 1999. Today, we’re proudly serving Jay C customers in 22 stores throughout the state. Responsibilities

• Create an outstanding customer experience through exceptional service.
• Establish and maintain a safe and clean environment that encourages our customers to return.
• Absorb and maintain knowledge of products sold within the department and be able to respond to questions and make suggestions about products.
• Assist the department manager in reaching sales and profit goals established for the department and monitor all established quality assurance standards.
• Embrace the Customer 1st strategy and encourage associates to deliver excellent customer service.
• Demonstrate the company's core values of respect, honesty, integrity, diversity, inclusion, and safety of others.

Qualifications

• Customer Service skills
• Effective communication skills
• Knowledge of basic math (counting, addition, and subtraction)

Ability to work cooperatively in high paced and sometimes stressful environment.

Ability to manage conflict in a reasonable, nonconfrontational and cooperative manner.

Ability to act with honesty and integrity regarding customer and business information.

Ability to follow directions and seek assistance when necessary to resolve customer and business issues.
