Job Summary

Aids the department manager in achieving sales and profit targets. Restocks products and enhances customer confidence through excellent service.

Responsibilities

• SERVICE: 70%

  • Create welcoming and respectful environments to foster customer loyalty.
  • Maintain product availability and freshness according to plan.
  • Offer assistance and product suggestions to customers.

• LEADERSHIP: 10%

  • Promote trust and respect among team members.
  • Communicate company and department information effectively.

• FINANCIAL: 10%

  • Monitor inventory and report discrepancies.
  • Inspect products for quality and freshness.
  • Ensure proper temperature and document logs.

• COMPLIANCE/SAFETY: 10%

  • Maintain safety standards and report hazards.
  • Execute product recalls and ensure compliance with regulations.
  • Cultivate a safe work environment and train associates.

Qualifications

• Education

  • High School / GED preferred

• Experience

  • 0 - 3 years supervisory experience preferred

• Skills & Abilities

  • Must be 18 years old
  • Strong customer service and interpersonal skills
  • Exceptional communication and motivational skills

• Physical Demands

  • Standing, walking, reaching, carrying, pushing, lifting up to 50 lbs.
  • Sitting, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, climbing up to 30 ft.
  • Exposure to various environmental conditions and safety risks.

  • General office equipment, register, pricing gun, scales, scanner, material handling equipment, personal protective equipment (Goggles, Gloves, Back Brace)
