Job Summary
Aids the department manager in achieving sales and profit targets. Restocks products and enhances customer confidence through excellent service.
Responsibilities
% Of Time: SERVICE (70%)
- Creates welcoming environment for customers.
- Maintains product availability and freshness.
- Assists customers in finding or suggesting products.
% Of Time: LEADERSHIP (10%)
- Promotes trust and respect among team members.
- Communicates company and department information.
- Adheres to local, state, and federal laws.
% Of Time: FINANCIAL (10%)
- Maintains inventory and reports discrepancies.
- Ensures product quality and freshness.
- Follows food safety guidelines and logs temperatures.
% Of Time: COMPLIANCE/SAFETY (10%)
- Maintains safety standards and reports hazards.
- Executes product recalls and ensures compliance.
- Ensures equipment is in good condition.
Qualifications
Education: High School / GED preferred.
Experience: 0 - 3 years of supervisory experience preferred.
Skills: Strong customer service, interpersonal, motivational, and communication skills.
Physical Demands: Regular standing, walking, reaching, carrying, pushing, lifting up to 50 lbs., occasional sitting, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, climbing up to 30 ft., twisting back and/or neck, walking on slippery or cluttered floors, working with hazardous equipment, exposure to loud noise, skin irritants, nuisance dust, fumes and sprays, hazardous cleaning solutions, and toxins.

Equipment: Cleaning supplies and equipment, general office equipment, register, pricing gun, scales, scanner, various material handling equipment, such as racks, carts, pallet jacks, shopping carts, baler/compactor, box cutter.
