Job Summary
Aids the department manager in achieving sales and profit targets. Restocks products and enhances customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
% Of Time: SERVICE (70%)
- Creates welcoming environment to foster customer confidence and loyalty.
- Maintains product availability and freshness.
- Assists customers in finding or suggesting products.

- Promotes trust and respect among team members.
- Communicates company and department information.
- Adheres to local, state, and federal laws.
% Of Time: FINANCIAL (10%)
- Maintains inventory and reports discrepancies.
- Ensures product quality and freshness.
- Follows food safety guidelines and logs temperatures.
% Of Time: COMPLIANCE/SAFETY (10%)
- Maintains safety standards and reports hazards.
- Executes product recalls and ensures compliance.
- Enforces safety procedures and training.
- Reports accidents and illegal activities.
Qualifications
Education: High School / GED preferred
Experience: 0 - 3 years supervisory experience preferred
Skills: Strong customer service, interpersonal, motivational, and communication skills
Physical Demands: Regular standing, walking, reaching, carrying, pushing, lifting up to 50 lbs., occasional sitting, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, climbing up to 30 ft., twisting back and neck, working on slippery or cluttered floors, exposure to loud noise, skin irritants, nuisance dust, fumes, and sprays, hazardous cleaning solutions, and toxins.
Safety Risk Factors: Exposure to sharp objects, hazardous equipment, and toxic substances.
Equipment: Cleaning supplies and equipment, general office equipment, register, pricing gun, scales, scanner, various material handling equipment, personal protective equipment (Goggles, Gloves, Back Brace).
