Grinder Operator D Crew (6:45PM-7AM 2/2/3)

Key Responsibilities

• Operate grinding equipment according to established procedures and quality standards.
• Contribute to safe, accident-free operations while complying with all safety, environmental, quality, and company requirements.
• Conduct daily forklift inspections, change propane tanks as needed, and safely operate material handling equipment.
• Verify correct materials are available for processing.
• Monitor and document silo levels to ensure adequate materials are available to support production schedules.
• Process materials according to standard operating procedures.
• Transport materials to designated storage or scrap areas.
• Collect material samples and perform quality checks against established specifications.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the grinding area.
• Weigh, track, and document material transfers accurately.
• Complete required production and inventory documentation.
• Assist Maintenance and Production leadership with preventive maintenance activities.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Valid Driver's License.
• Forklift certification or ability to obtain certification.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, 24/7 manufacturing environment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
• Schedule flexibility to support business needs.

Preferred

• Previous manufacturing, production, warehouse, or material handling experience.
• Experience operating forklifts and industrial equipment.
• Familiarity with quality inspections and production documentation.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, and perform repetitive movements throughout the shift.
• Safety and ability to safely operate forklifts and manufacturing equipment.
• Work in a manufacturing environment with varying temperatures, noise levels, and dust exposure.
• Ability to lift and move materials as required.
