Grinder D Shift ( Nights - 12Hours )

Responsibilities

• Ensure a quality regrind product by separating different polymers, removing all handles and gaskets, and recording regrind totals for each shift
• Monitor granulator for proper operation and report any problems to Maintenance and QA Manager
• Maintain good housekeeping in Grinder Room and Scrap Area of the Warehouse
• Operate manual pallet jack and sit-down forklift
• Perform additional duties as assigned, including packing products, providing break coverage for packers, and assisting with other production floor activities

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent preferred
• Detail-oriented with good communication and dependability
• Ability to frequently lift, bend, and reach to perform necessary job functions
• Ability to stand for long periods of time
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
• Ability to operate a forklift and pallet jack safely
• Basic writing and math skills

Pay

Starting pay of $18.50 per hour, increasing to $19.50 per hour after 90 days with a successful performance evaluation.

Schedule

• 12-hour shifts
• 2 days on, 2 days off, 2 days on, 3 days off
• Paid lunch breaks
