About the role
Grinds edges off de-molded parts and inside of hulls—also cuts and drills necessary holes in hulls and decks.
Responsibilities
- Grind all de-molded parts properly (hulls, decks, small parts).
- Lift deck parts with the help of other employees and move to the cut & gear area.
- Keep the work area clean and orderly.
- Follow instructions of the Manager/Supervisor/Lead.
- Inspect all parts to be complete and up to quality standards.
- Perform any other duties as assigned by management.
- Comply with all OSHA and safety procedures.
- Wear a respirator, goggles, and hearing protection as required.
Requirements

- Wear proper safety equipment as needed.
- Lift 50 pounds when necessary.
- See details at close range.
- Use and maintain small hand tools (grinder, scraper, razor knife, blower, diamond cutter, hole saws, etc.).
Tools & Equipment
- Personal Protective Equipment: Safety glasses, half-mask, dust/mist respirator, Tyvek protection suit.
- Hand Tools: Rollers, sanders, buffers, screwdrivers, drills, razor knives, scissors.
- Materials: Fiberglass, resin, gel coat.
- Small hand tools: Grinder, scraper, razor knife, blower, diamond cutter, hole saws.
