Grind Team Member - Porter Corp

Responsibilities

• Ensure quality of product before shot blast and during processing.
• Drive continuous improvement in support of department and company goals.
• Support, participate in, and encourage team building.
• Provide both positive and negative feedback to the team and weld shop supervisor.
• Promote a positive work environment.
• Follow all Porter Corps procedures and policies.
• Work safely and efficiently while staying customer focused.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds, bend, stand for long periods, and stoop.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience operating hand tools, hi-lo, and cranes.
• Ability to read and understand work instructions.
• Basic computer skill proficiency.
• Demonstrated proficiency using EPICOR ERP or similar systems.
• Positive interpersonal skills.
• Open-minded to new ideas and concepts.
• Self-motivated and results-oriented.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and other written documents.
• Ability to read measuring tools and tape measures.
• Good attendance and punctuality.

Schedule

Minimal to no travel required.
