Responsibilities

• Utilize various preparation and cooking methods to ensure the quick, precise creation of our menu items in accordance with JOEY recipes.
• Cook and prepare food items according to menu specifications and JOEY standards.
• Coordinate with other stations as needed to ensure smooth operation and timely delivery of food.
• Maintain prep and cooking areas in a clean, sanitary, and safe manner.
• Complete assigned opening, side work, and closing duties to set your team up for success.
• Follow all instructions and guidelines for safe usage of kitchen equipment and cleaning compounds.
• Report equipment problems and maintenance issues to leadership immediately.
• Follow all food service and handling safety precautions and procedures.

Requirements

• 1-3+ years culinary experience (high potential candidates with less experience are also considered).
• Valid local and/or state Food Handler permits.
• A passion for hospitality and a proven track record of creating world-class hospitality experiences.
• The ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced work environment.
• The ability to walk and stand for prolonged periods of time; frequent bending, reaching, and stretching; repetitive manual tasks; and lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
