Responsibilities
- Prepare, cook, and plate grilled dishes according to hotel standards and menu specifications
- Assist with menu planning and ingredient selection to ensure quality and freshness
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the grill station and surrounding areas
- Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines at all times
- Monitor food stock levels and communicate needs for replenishment
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders
- Auxiliary support for catering events or special functions as needed
- Ensure proper food handling techniques are adhered to during meal preparation
Qualifications
- Previous experience in the dietary department, culinary arts, or restaurant kitchens preferred
- Knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and food safety regulations
- Strong knife skills and proficiency in meal preparation and food handling
- Experience with menu planning, fine dining, or catering is a plus
- Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented attitude
- Food industry or culinary experience is highly desirable
- Serving or food service experience is beneficial but not required
