Grill Cook
Job Description
To cost effectively and in a safe, sanitary manner. Responsible for the preparation to include but not limited to short order grilling, roast carving and display cooking for patients, employees and visitors according to regulating agencies including New York State Sanitary Code. Responsible for quality, appearance and proper portioning of all cafeteria food.
Education And Credentials
- High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
- One (1) year of quantity food production training and four (4) years experience in hospital food service or two (2) years of quantity cooking and two (2) years of hospital food service experience.
Working Conditions
- Able to cope with peak production and service times that require speed and concentration.
