Grill Cashier

Core Duties and Responsibilities

• Provide quality guest service at all times.
• Process sales transactions.
• Accept payment.
• Calculate and return change when required by the payment method.
• Maintain adequate change denominations in the cash drawer and request additional change when needed.
• Answer customer questions about products.
• Reconcile cash drawers and sales receipts.
• Report issues with equipment.
• Work as a team to meet grill and customers’ expectations.
• Handle customer complaints.
• Maintain a high standard of cleanliness for a comfortable and safe environment.
• Assist in stocking and rotating food products.
• Be neat in appearance and in uniform.
• Know cleaning products and how to use them.
• Maintain cleanliness of assigned work area(s); cleaning lobby tables/floor, display glass and condiment table.
• Fill out temperature log sheets properly and report any potential dangers or hazards.
• Maintain cleanliness of assigned work area(s); cleaning lobby tables/floor, display glass and condiment table.
• Report all injuries or cuts immediately to lead person, Supervisor, or Manager on shift, fill out necessary paperwork.
• Perform extra duties on slow shifts, (daily, weekly, and monthly).
• Perform other duties as assigned.
