About the role
The role involves transforming the end-to-end process of Grid Automation's (GA) electrical panels using a Design For X approach. This includes Design for Quality, Design for Manufacturing, Design for Automation, Design for Circularity, and Design for Serviceability. The project will pilot in the Salt Lake City panel facility and be deployed across all GA regions.
Responsibilities
- Organize, structure, and lead the overall transformation project and strategy
- Validate and develop ROI (Return on Investment)
- Manage budget, planning, staffing, stakeholders, communication in and outside the project team, define milestones and PPI/KPIS
- Set measure and targets for the transformation project execution, and transformation effectiveness against expected ROI and SQDC
- Prepare steering committee and executive communication
- Engage with the lean team to prepare and co-lead kaizens
- Develop the plan, the needed process, documentation, governance, and change management to allow deployment of the transformation in all GA Regions, and sustain the change
- Pilot in selected GA Regions the defined transformations as soon as they are available
- Arrange specific interactions with the Salt Lake City project team to deploy the transformation in line with the Region (NAM) business challenges
- Leverage lean concepts and state-of-the-art technology, tool, and process in the domain of DFX, AI, and R&A (Robotics & Automation)
Requirements
- Proven experience in engineering and industrial transformation projects
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, Power Systems Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field with strong electrical specialization
- Understanding and experience of low voltage electrical business, preferably protection and control of electrical substations
- Strong Project Management expertise and demonstrated capability
- Proven experience managing cross-functional technical projects with responsibility for scope, schedule, budget, and stakeholder alignment
- Ability to work effectively with software developers, data teams, production teams, and engineers as both a domain expert and product owner
- Demonstrated change leadership and the ability to drive adoption of new tools and workflows across experienced engineering teams
- AI and R&A mindset and sufficient knowledge, with preferred expertise with some experience of implementation

- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to communicate effectively across technical and non-technical audiences
- Lean acumen

Pay
The pay range for this position is between $154,800.00 and $258,000.00. The Company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120%, or 130% of salary in certain areas.
Schedule
This is a remote position. Hybrid is preferred with a base in a GA Engineering and Panel facility. Position preferred geography is NAM, Europe, or Middle East.
