Grey Room Lapping Technician
About the role
We’re hiring Grey Room Lapping Technicians to join our employee-owned team in Elgin, SC. In this role, you’ll perform precision lapping and finishing processes used to create highly accurate sealing surfaces for fuel injection components.
Responsibilities
- Perform lapping operations on fuel injection components to meet precise specifications
- Inspect finished surfaces for quality, accuracy, and consistency
- Utilize measuring and inspection equipment to verify results
- Follow detailed work instructions and quality procedures
- Maintain cleanliness and organization within the work area
- Support production goals while ensuring product quality and safety
Requirements
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Ability to perform repetitive precision work with consistency
- Strong hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity
- Manufacturing or quality inspection experience is helpful but not required
- Able to follow established procedures and quality standards
- Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
