Join MainStreet Family Care as a Patient Greeter in Cary, NC, where you’ll be the welcoming face that sets a positive tone for every patient’s visit. This role focuses on guiding patients through check-in, answering questions, and ensuring they feel comfortable from the moment they arrive.

Responsibilities

• Welcome patients and create a friendly, positive first impression.
• Greet patients as they arrive and help direct them through the check-in process.
• Assist patients with questions about the self-service check-in and registration kiosk.
• Provide guidance and troubleshooting when patients have difficulty navigating the kiosk.
• Help patients understand what information is needed to complete registration without completing it on their behalf.
• Ensure patients know what to expect during the check-in process.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming front-of-clinic environment.
• Communicate with the clinical team when patients need additional assistance.
• Help maintain a smooth and efficient patient flow within the clinic.
• Complete Medical Assistant cross-training and maintain competency in applicable clinical responsibilities.
• Assist with Medical Assistant duties when needed based on clinic staffing and patient volume.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Friendly, approachable, and patient-focused personality.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Comfortable working with people of all ages and backgrounds.
• Comfortable learning and assisting with technology, including self-service kiosks.
• Basic computer skills, including experience with Microsoft Office.
• Ability to remain calm, patient, and helpful when assisting patients who may be frustrated or unfamiliar with the check-in process.
• Prior healthcare or customer service experience is beneficial but not required.
• Willingness to complete Medical Assistant cross-training.

Schedule

Clinic hours of operation:

• Monday – Friday: 8:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m.
• Saturday and Sunday: 9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.

Greeters work a rotating schedule, alternating between 5 days one week and 2 days the next, including every other weekend. This totals 7 workdays over a 14-day period.

Pay

Starting pay is $15 per hour.
