GreenTree Maintenance Technician, Appliance Repair

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Handle 100% of the company’s appliance repairs including refrigerators, stoves, dishwashers, washing machines and dryers
• Examine customers’ appliances to identify the cause of appliance breakdowns
• Communicate with team members, resident managers, and maintenance supervisor throughout the day
• Report on all expenditures, change orders, invoices, billing, and purchases for approval and processing
• Perform hands-on repairs and maintain portfolio cleanliness
• Report on completed work orders, open work orders, and any issues encountered daily
• Submit weekly time sheets, gas mileage, and invoices associated with the work orders
• Maintain regular contact with residents and skilled trades, keeping detailed current system records and documents

SKILLS AND ABILITIES

• Proven experience as an Appliance Repair Tech
• EPA certified
• Good working knowledge of tools and devices required to perform the job
• Manual dexterity and problem-solving skills
• Good physical condition and strength with the ability to lift up to 75 pounds
• Able to work well with minimal supervision
• Able to prioritize tasks and follow specified procedures
• Able to respond to emails, calls, and texts

QUALIFICATIONS

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Certificate in building maintenance technology or relevant field a plus
• 1-3 years of experience as a Maintenance Technician preferred
• Own and be very familiar with a smart phone and know how to use email
• Have reliable vehicle, valid driver license, and insurance
