Greenskeeper

Salt Leaf Golf Preserve, located in Bonita Springs, FL, is seeking a motivated individual to contribute to a positive experience for members and guests while growing their knowledge of golf club operations. As an associate, you’ll be part of Troon, a global leader in golf and community management.

Responsibilities

• Maintains clean and organized work areas on the golf course and maintenance facility.
• Mows greens, approaches, fairways, rough, tees, and other areas.
• Waters tees, greens, and fairways; operates irrigation heads in dry areas needing additional water.
• Repairs the irrigation system, pipes, and irrigation heads as necessary.
• Grades and prepares soil base, lays sod, and seeds greens, tees, and fairways.
• Trims and prunes hedges and shrubbery; cleans flower beds.
• Applies pesticides and fertilizer to the golf course.
• Performs related duties as assigned by supervisor or manager.

Requirements

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Highly organized, efficient, and detail-oriented.
• Ability to design, coordinate, and maintain landscaping on the golf course.
• Ability to operate all tools and equipment related to golf course maintenance.
• Skilled in seeding, fertilizing, mulching, and general ground preparation for restoration and renovation.
• Dependable.
