Greens Maintenance Technician II

Responsibilities

• Mow greens and fairways
• Water the golf course and maintain the sprinkler system
• Fertilize the course
• Maintain and service golf-course equipment
• Prepare the course for winter

Requirements

• High school diploma or G.E.D.
• Four years of experience in general maintenance work on public or private golf courses
• Valid driver’s license
• Utah Pesticide Applicator License with Category 3 in Turf and Ornamental (required within six months of hire)

Pay

$26.26 to $34.13 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.

Schedule

40 hours per week, Monday–Friday, 6:00 a.m.–4:00 p.m. Evenings, holidays, and weekends may be required. During the golf season, hours typically exceed 40 per week.
