Role Description The Greenhouse Grower, Nursery Support role is a full-time, on-site position located in Lynden, WA. This role is responsible for supporting greenhouse and nursery operations, including monitoring plant health, assisting with propagation, transplanting, watering, fertilizing, and pest and disease management under established protocols. The position involves maintaining clean and organized growing environments, operating basic greenhouse equipment, and following safety and quality standards. The Greenhouse Grower, Nursery Support team member collaborates with supervisors and colleagues to meet production goals and seasonal timelines, accurately record data related to plant growth and treatments, and assist with general farm tasks as needed. Qualifications Knowledge of greenhouse or nursery operations, including plant care, propagation, and basic pest and disease identification.Ability to perform physical work such as lifting, bending, standing for extended periods, and working in varying weather and temperature conditions.Strong attention to detail and record-keeping skills for tracking plant health, treatments, and production activities.Effective communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with supervisors and coworkers in a fast-paced agricultural environment.Reliability and time management skills, with the ability to follow schedules, instructions, and safety procedures.Willingness to learn new growing techniques and use basic farm and greenhouse tools or equipment.Previous experience in horticulture, agriculture, or related field is preferred but not required; relevant training will be provided.High school diploma or equivalent is preferred; additional education in plant science, horticulture, or agriculture is a plus.
