Green Team Advisor, Riverview Elementary, Adjunct

Begins as soon as possible for the 2026-2027 school year. Annual stipend: $1,000.00.

Responsibilities

• Organize, facilitate, and supervise the school’s Green Team.
• Implement and facilitate the Green Team application process as developed by the district’s Green Team Lead.
• Ensure Green Team meetings are held twice per month after school, lasting at least 45 minutes (longer as needed for projects).
• Facilitate the building-level Green Team project selection process with students at the start of the school year and develop a project plan for the year.
• Assist students in managing and monitoring their identified projects.
• Support students in developing and facilitating school-sponsored events to highlight Green Team initiatives.
• Assist students in creating a quarterly newsletter to showcase initiatives and progress on the annual work plan.
• Coordinate and communicate with the district’s Green Team Lead, attending monthly meetings.
• Participate in the start-of-year kickoff event and end-of-year celebration facilitated by the district’s Green Team Lead.
• Supervise students during Green Team meetings and events.
• Recruit and organize volunteers to assist with the building-level Green Team as needed.
• Communicate with parents/guardians of Green Team students.
