Great Lakes Testing Services - Third-Party CDL Examiner
About the role
Great Lakes Testing Service is the private, third-party alternative to the state DMV for commercial driver's license skills testing. When the state is backlogged and understaffed, we are the faster path—a privatized testing service that gets qualified candidates through their Class A road test in days, not weeks. A driver who has finished the classroom and the yard shouldn't lose weeks—and a paycheck—waiting in a DMV queue. Great Lakes Testing Service exists to remove that bottleneck. But faster never means easier; every exam we administer must be fair, consistent, and run strictly to state and AAMVA protocols. The examiner is where that promise gets kept. This is a role for an experienced, professional Class A driver ready to bring their expertise off the road and into a vital regulatory and safety position—evaluating the next generation of drivers, protecting the standard, and going home every night.
