About the Role

Grand Rapids Christian seeks a part-time Spanish teacher who reflects a Christian worldview in their teaching. The role involves K–4 instruction, requiring fluency in Spanish and a valid State of Michigan teaching certification in Elementary Education and/or Middle School Spanish.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent Christian teaching
• Implement K–4 Spanish immersion curriculum
• Demonstrate effective classroom management
• Develop and maintain effective relationships with students, families, and colleagues
• Establish ongoing communications between colleagues and members of the school community

Qualifications

• Knowledge, understanding, and commitment to a reformed Christian educational worldview
• Valid Michigan Teaching Certificate with Spanish endorsement
• Fluency in the Spanish language
• Strong organizational skills
• Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills
