Compensation: $200,000 – $250,000 annually
About the role
This role will lead technical work focused on secure, reliable systems and risk-aware execution. You will work across engineering, product, operations, and business stakeholders to translate complex requirements into practical technology solutions. The position offers the opportunity to influence architecture, execution quality, and the technology capabilities that enable long-term growth within a technology-driven environment.
Responsibilities
- Build and lead the GRC function within the Security Team
- Manage risks and compliance needs as the company scales globally
- Research and maintain tools for continuous monitoring of security controls
- Communicate compliance progress and resolutions to stakeholders
- Create procedural documentation and training materials
- Coordinate annual security risk assessments and prepare treatment plans
- Collaborate on Business Impact Assessments and BCP/DR activities
Qualifications
- 7+ years of experience in security/IT compliance or equivalent roles
- Experience with audits, risk and compliance frameworks like SOC 2 and ISO27001
- Ability to communicate effectively, both written and spoken
- Strong multitasking and prioritization skills in fast-paced environments
- Familiarity with AWS or similar cloud service providers
- Experience with compliance in software companies is essential
- Bonus: Knowledge of scripting languages such as Python, JSON
