GRC Engineer

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

This role will lead operational priorities where safety, quality, compliance, and execution discipline are central to success. You will collaborate with field leadership, support functions, and cross-functional stakeholders to improve accountability, service delivery, and operational consistency. The position offers the opportunity to influence operational scale, customer outcomes, and organizational performance within a technology-driven environment.

Responsibilities

• Own and evolve the company risk register using AI for real-time monitoring
• Lead external audit management and automate evidence collection processes
• Engineer the Trust and Assurance program with automated workflows for security questionnaires
• Develop a dynamic vendor and supply chain risk program that minimizes manual oversight
• Redesign security policies utilizing AI for drafting and tracking updates efficiently
• Monitor common controls in Vanta for automatic alerting of compliance issues
• Modernize the security training program and integrate compliance calendars

Qualifications

• 3+ years in GRC, information security compliance, or risk management
• Hands-on experience supporting or leading SOC 2 audits
• Knowledge of various compliance frameworks including CIS Controls and NIST standards
• Experience in rapid vendor risk assessments and supply chain risk management
• Strong organizational skills for managing multiple workstreams
• Excellent written communication skills for drafting policies and reports
• Familiarity with Vanta platform or equivalent

Pay

$130,000 – $170,000 annually
