About the role
This is a hybrid position at Wells Fargo, working three days a week in the office. No visa sponsorship or transfers are available for this role.
Responsibilities
- Drive security risk, controls, and GRC platform capabilities across a large-scale financial services environment.
- Create workflows and review, draft, and refine control standards for business impact.
- Provide advanced data aggregation and analysis of information security risk exposure.
- Support GRC processes including control testing, issue management, and compliance monitoring.
- Engage in the software development lifecycle (SDLC) by reviewing requirements, testing changes, and supporting production readiness.
- Design and implement logical and technical workflows within GRC tools.
- Conduct security control testing and provide consultation with stakeholders.
- Evaluate and interpret internal and enterprise information security policies and recommend improvements.
- Collaborate across teams to resolve issues and achieve security objectives.
- Interact with internal customers and serve as a mentor to less experienced staff.
- Apply pre-deterministic and generative AI techniques to enhance analysis, insights, and predictive risk modeling.
- Operate effectively in dynamic, fast-changing environments with evolving requirements.
Qualifications
- 4+ years of Information Security Analysis experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education.
- Experience configuring IBM OpenPages (nice to have).
- Background in large financial services environments.
- A strong consulting mindset with the ability to influence and drive outcomes.
- Hands-on cybersecurity experience focused on solution development (not SOC/NOC or pure audit).
- Ability to follow direction while exercising independent judgment and adaptability.
