About the role
Porters are responsible for maintaining cleanliness throughout assigned areas, including the casino floor, restaurants, and bathrooms.
Responsibilities
- Work assigned sections independently and unsupervised
- Keep assigned sections clean, including emptying garbage
- Follow direction and perform other cleaning duties as assigned
- Ensure proper use of personal protective equipment
- Conduct shift-based special cleaning projects and collaborate with team members to proactively complete them in a timely manner
- Floor care and surface cleaning
- Restocking cleaning supplies
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- At least 21 years of age
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, holidays, and special events
- Ability to successfully interact with all levels of team members including management
- Arriving on time and maintaining regular attendance is considered an essential function of this position
- Must be able to tolerate areas containing secondary smoke, high noise levels, bright lights, and dust
