Graveyard Cashier- Start Immediately

About the role

We are currently seeking a motivated and personable Cashier to join our team at LV Petroleum. As a Cashier, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service by accurately processing transactions and assisting customers with their needs. Your positive attitude and attention to detail will contribute to a seamless shopping experience for our patrons.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly and assist with their purchases while addressing any queries professionally
• Accurately handle cash, credit, and debit transactions using the Point of Sale (POS) system
• Keep the cashier area and surrounding environment clean, organized, and inviting for customers
• Maintain an understanding of products and promotions to provide helpful information to customers
• Collaborate with team members to ensure a smooth workflow and excellent customer service
• Help with inventory management by monitoring stock levels and restocking as required

Requirements

• Previous cashier or customer service experience is a plus, but not required
• Basic math skills for handling cash and transactions accurately
• Strong verbal communication skills to interact effectively with customers and colleagues
• Must be reliable and flexible, able to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude
