About the role
The Graphics Engineer Intermediate supports the U.S. Army by developing, documenting, and maintaining acquisition strategies, strategic plans, and formal program management documentation to guide capability development and modernization initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Create graphics and visual elements for motion video, animations, digital media, and print products, under the guidance of senior graphics staff.
- Support the development of graphics materials for events, conferences, and meetings, ensuring timely and accurate delivery.
- Produce illustrations, drawings, and other artwork as directed to enhance communications materials.
- Provide photographs, charts, diagrams, maps, slides, and other visual assets for informational and briefing purposes.
- Assist in the preparation and presentation of awards, including tasks such as matting and framing.
- Aid in photography tasks related to events, conferences, and meetings, coordinating with public affairs personnel as needed.
Requirements
- Required: Bachelor's Degree in Graphics design, computer information systems, Commercial art, fine arts, art history, industrial design, architecture, drafting, interior design, photography, visual communication, or other fields related to the position.
- Minimum of four years' (4) experience in the field of graphics and design is required.
- Associate's degree in Graphics design, computer information systems, Commercial art, fine arts, art history, industrial design, architecture, drafting, interior design, photography, visual communication, or other fields related to the position, and a minimum of seven (7) years of experience in the field of graphics and design.
Qualifications
- Possesses knowledge of multiple PC and Macintosh application packages, including word processing, spreadsheets, graphics, and drawing packages.
- Proficiency in industry-standard design software like Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, etc.
Skills
- Strong graphic design skills.
- Experience with Adobe Creative Suite.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
