Responsibilities
- Supports and contributes to a healthy and safe work environment by following all workplace regulations, policies, and initiatives, including reporting all first aid injuries, accidents, and workplace hazards.
Customer Relationship Management
- Manage artwork development for assigned customers, building strong, professional relationships.
- Manage daily communication, including order updates, scheduling, issue resolution, and follow-ups.
- Ensure customers and internal staff receive accurate and timely information and that expectations regarding delivery and quality are met.
- Provide proactive updates and maintain a high level of responsiveness.
Job Coordination & Execution
- Enter information within ERP systems, ensuring all required information is complete and accurate.
- Prepare artwork files for production, ensuring compliance with printing and packaging specifications.
- Process billing information for accounting.
- Communicate clearly with pre-press and production teams to ensure alignment on job requirements.
- Monitor job progress and follow through to ensure on-time completion and delivery.
Pre-Press & Production Liaison
- Act as a key liaison between internal and external teams.
- Coordinate revisions, approvals, and artwork changes.
- Partner with production and scheduling to align timelines and priorities.
Project Management
- Coordinate all aspects of assigned projects from initiation to final delivery.
- Maintain strong attention to detail to minimize errors, rework, and delays.
- Manage timelines, priorities, and competing demands with a sense of urgency.
- Ensure adherence to internal processes, SOPs, and customer-specific requirements.
Continuous Improvement & Communication
- Identify development opportunities (e.g., product knowledge, processes, policies) and suggest action plans and/or required training to department leadership.
- Assist and liaise between customers, management, sales, and production departments to resolve issues.
- Ensure consistency and clarity in all instructions provided to internal teams.
- Support a culture of accountability, responsiveness, and teamwork.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Minimum 2+ years of customer service experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Experience in flexographic printing, packaging, and pre-press processes.
- Strong understanding of packaging workflows and production environments.
