Graphic DesignerReports to: Chief Branding Officer Department: Marketing Location: 5210 S Priest Dr., Guadalupe, AZ 85283 (Tempe) Pay Range: $20-22 per hourPosition Summary: The Graphic Designer is responsible for conceptualizing, designing, and producing high-quality visual materials that support Mint Cannabis’s brand, marketing initiatives, and retail operations. This position plays a critical role in creating compliant, visually compelling, and on-brand designs across a variety of formats, including print, packaging, large-format signage, digital graphics, and photo/video assets.Responsibilities:Design, typeset, and lay out artwork using Adobe Creative Suite applications, including Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, and PremiereDevelop creative concepts from briefs and bring them through to finalized, production-ready artworkCollaborate with internal departments and the Creative Director to ensure alignment with brand standards and marketing goalsCreate assets for packaging, retail displays, digital campaigns, laser engraving, and promotional materialsRevise and refine creative based on stakeholder feedback, ensuring all versions meet quality and compliance standardsMaintain organized project files and asset libraries for efficiency and consistencyManage multiple projects with varying timelines and prioritiesUtilize project management software (e.g., Asana or equivalent) to track progress and meet deadlinesSupport photo and video shoots as needed, including editing and basic content preparationPerform general office or departmental duties as assigned. Supervisory Responsibilities:NoneQualifications:5+ years of professional graphic design experienceExpert-level proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesignStrong attention to detail and commitment to accuracyAbility to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environmentExcellent communication and collaboration skillsReliable transportation and consistent attendanceMust be 21 years of age or olderMust be able to obtain and maintain a valid state-issued Facility Agent Card (if applicable). Preferred:Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design or related fieldExperience with Adobe Premiere or video/photo editingFamiliarity with HTML/CSS or motion graphicsExperience designing for cannabis, retail, or consumer goods industriesExperience with Asana or similar project management toolsEducation and Certifications:High school diploma or equivalent requiredBachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Fine Arts, or a related field preferredPhysical Requirements:Prolonged periods sitting or standing at a computer workstationManual dexterity required for operating computers and related equipmentMust be able to lift up to 25 pounds occasionallyWork Environment:Primarily office-based creative environment in Tempe, AZMay involve exposure to cannabis plant material and related odorsOccasional offsite work for creative projects, events, or photo/video shootsPPE may be required in certain production or facility environmentsTravel Requirements:Minimal; may occasionally travel to Mint Cannabis retail or production sites for creative support.
