Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in graphic design or related field. Equivalent combination of education and experience considered.
Experience
- Minimum of three years of professional design experience.
Skills
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop required).
- Familiarity with generative AI as it relates to design.
- Familiarity with motion and video design tools such as After Effects and Premiere Pro preferred.
Responsibilities
- Develops creative concepts and designs consistent with brand identity standards established by the Marketing Services Department.
- Produces integrated marketing campaign elements and publications from concept through completion for print, web, video and digital presentation.
- Collaborates with clients and marketing service team members to deliver design solutions that meet strategic, budgetary, and scheduling goals.
- Supports organization and metadata tagging of photography within the College’s digital asset management (DAM) system to ensure efficient access and brand consistency.
- Supports Visual Content Specialist in photography and video needs when required.
- Requests, reviews, and recommends vendor quotes for print, and other production services; coordinates with internal printshop and external vendors to ensure quality and timely delivery.
- Stays current with design, marketing, and technology trends and recommends new tools, practices, and innovations.
- Uses industry-standard design software and project management platforms to produce, track, and deliver work.
- Affords assistance in coordinating work from freelance designers, photographers, and agencies as needed.
- Ensures all deliverables meet brand, accessibility, and quality standards across print and digital platforms.
- Supports project timelines and ensures internal and external deadlines are met.
