The Role
The Graphic Designer is responsible for creating visual concepts that inspire and captivate the consumer while maintaining a consistent brand representation across all materials.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain a consistent visual voice across all creative materials, ensuring strong brand alignment and elevated creative standards.
- Produce new concepts, develop reference materials, pull swipes, and provide creative input across image and video concept development.
- Assist larger production of campaign shoots by supporting pre-production processes, developing toolkits, and assisting Art Directors in concept planning.
- Work with Creative Leadership to refine concept work across all creative elements, including photo and video direction, graphic design, art direction, and third-party creative collaboration.
- Collaborate closely with Art Directors, Copywriters, Project Managers, and Producers to execute cohesive creative output.
- Demonstrate illustrative skills with rough sketches and work on layouts ready for print advertising, including, but not limited to, magazines and out-of-home placements.
- Build upon existing design materials while adhering to Ralph Lauren brand standards across print, digital, and experiential touchpoints.
- Proofread and review all creative work to ensure accuracy and high quality.
- Ensure all projects are on track and aligned with established timelines.
Requirements
- Professional experience in Graphic Design, preferably with a fashion company or creative agency.
- Strong Photoshop, InDesign, and Bridge skills; working knowledge of other current design applications.
- Strong experience with Keynote presentations and deck building.
- Experience with Ai (Illustrator) and Premiere and After Effects.
- Excellent understanding of typography.
- Strong attention to detail when finalizing designs.
- Strong time management and ability to multitask.
- Understanding of social media trends and news in the fashion industry.
- Ability to effectively communicate with business partners at all levels.
- Adaptive design eye and skill.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in a professional design environment.
Skills
- Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, etc.)
- Keynote presentations and deck building.
- Experience with Ai (Illustrator), Premiere, and After Effects.
- Strong understanding of typography.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
