A well-known retail and lifestyle brand is looking for a Graphic Designer to join the team that brings creative to life across their website and mobile app. This team takes concepts from the brand’s creative group and builds the digital experience customers see on homepages, collection pages, and product pages. The cadence is weekly: creative is briefed and goes live about three weeks later. It moves fast, changes often, and the finished work is beautiful. If you like a quick tempo and take pride in pixel-perfect execution, this is a strong fit. This role starts as a holiday-season contract and is expected to transition into a backfill. A team member is retiring at the end of the year, and the client is actively hoping to convert a strong contractor to full-time. What You’ll Do Design & Concepting Design elevated, on-brand seasonal creative that fulfills brief requests for launches, promotions, and everything in betweenConcept in a forward-thinking lens and build campaigns for upcoming seasonsExecute comps, ideas, and mockups for weekly and leadership presentationsBring pitched concepts to life and help execute already-concepted campaigns under the direction of the Art Director Production & Quality Check live site and app creative to validate it was built as designedUpdate creative to reflect the latest status in a fast-moving landscapeEnsure pixel-perfect production and deliveryCreate files, folder structures, prototypes, and share links for final creativeMaintain Figma component libraries so they stay current with the design language and live site specs Collaboration Build relationships with teammates and cross-functional partners, and communicate clearly when there are questions or changesWork directly with developers and designers, using web development standards and terminology comfortablyUse Chrome developer tools to pull CSS info and troubleshoot Tools Used Day to Day Workfront to ingest briefsFigma for design and component librariesAdobe Creative Suite on MacWordPress experience is a plus What You Bring Required Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience3–4 years in a design role preferred (internship experience counts)Fluency in Mac, Adobe Creative Suite, and FigmaDeep working knowledge of Figma, including components, variants, and librariesStrong creative production, organization, and design skillsExcellent attention to detailAbility to work quickly and absorb changes in a fast-paced environmentExperience creating playful, compelling animations and video for digital sites and platformsStrong written and verbal communication skills Preferred / Stands Out Previous fashion, beauty, or retail design experienceWorking knowledge of web development standards and how design translates to buildWordPress experience How You Work Self-motivated and independent: you look for ways to help rather than waiting to be toldPersonable with a positive attitude, and you enjoy getting to know new peopleResourceful problem solver and quick, independent thinkerKind, empathetic, and bring a strong work ethicTeam-orientedExcited to learn and looking for a long-term commitment with room to grow # About Aquent Talent Aquent Talent connects the best talent in marketing, creative, and design with the world’s biggest brands.
