About the role
HSP Direct is a full-service direct marketing agency specializing in fundraising for conservative nonprofits and political candidates. We are seeking a motivated Graphic Designer to join our team and contribute to our clients’ fundraising programs.
Responsibilities
- Design effective print materials for nonprofit and political fundraising campaigns, including direct mail packages, donor newsletters, calendars, and other inserts.
- Be a forever student of direct response. A successful Graphic Designer is hungry to learn the best practices of direct-response and study what’s working both in our agency and across the industry.
- Be obsessed with results. A successful Graphic Designer is always seeking to improve client performance through creative design and strategic testing of package elements.
- Maintain a positive, solution-oriented mindset. We’re looking for someone who thrives on challenges and enjoys problem-solving.
- Build strong relationships with HSP’s Creative team of copywriters, translating their creative concepts into visually compelling layouts that drive results.
- Collaborate with HSP’s Project Managers to prepare package files for print production, ensuring accuracy and high quality.
Requirements
- Technical proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), Figma, or similar design tools.
- Alignment with HSP’s mission and share in our commitment to support conservative clients and principles.
- Clear and effective communicator who welcomes collaboration and feedback.
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines.
- Ability to work with different teams and personalities while respectfully pushing for the desired outcome.
Qualifications
- Experience in graphic design for direct response campaigns is preferred.
- Strong understanding of design principles and typography.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proficiency in design software such as Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.

Pay
Compensation is commensurate with experience and skills.
Schedule
This is a full-time, in-office position located in Ashburn, VA. Remote work is not an option.
