Graphic Designer

The Role

Select Design is seeking a Graphic Designer to join their creative team based in Burlington, VT. This position bridges the gap between concept and production, ideally suited for someone with a keen eye for current trends and culture who can translate ideas into practical designs.

What you’ll do

• Develop concept directions, mood boards, and inspiration decks that are fresh, relevant, and showcase clear creative thinking
• Design with real-world application in mind, considering product end-use, target audience, and the physical environment
• Create mockups that are polished and ready for clients, paying attention to scale, dimensions, and realism
• Design graphics for various brand touchpoints such as custom products, merchandise, apparel, POS/POP displays, signage, etc.
• Support production design when necessary, producing accurate mechanical files for different applications and vendors, both domestically and internationally
• Collaborate with senior designers and creative leads on larger initiatives
• Take charge of smaller projects and run them independently
• Stay updated on trends in culture, fashion, and retail
• Bring strong ideas to the table and elevate the work around you

What we’re looking for

• A strong innate sense of design. You know what looks good and why
• A clear understanding of current trends, aesthetics, and cultural signals
• The ability to design beyond the page, considering placement, scale, and environment
• Experience creating compelling concept decks before diving into execution
• Comfortable transitioning from conceptual thinking to technical execution
• Strong skills in Adobe Creative Suite
• Working knowledge of AI tools or 3D design to enhance mockups is a plus
• The ability to manage multiple projects and adapt to shifting priorities
• A positive, team-first attitude with excellent communication skills

Qualifications

A portfolio is required for consideration. This is an on-site role, and the team works and collaborates at their headquarters in Burlington, VT.
