About the role

This role is an in-person position at our Las Vegas superstore location. Remote candidates will not be considered.

Responsibilities

  • Create visually compelling designs for packaging, marketing materials, print, and digital content, ensuring our brand stands out in a competitive market.
  • Collaborate with marketing and product teams to deliver cohesive and effective visual communication, contributing to the success of the overall creative strategy.
  • Produce highly creative visual work for packaging, print, environment, collateral, digital and web materials.
  • Manage own projects, working within schedule requirements.
  • Lead multiple projects from conception to completion simultaneously in accordance with deadlines.
  • Participate in concept ideation while ensuring consistency and adherence to MMDC’s brand style + voice.
  • Maintain a high level of organization, prioritize and multi-task to meet deadlines.
  • Stay up to date with the latest graphic design techniques, styles and trends, as well as software technology.
  • Generate creative ideas and execute work independently.
  • Understand production for collateral including resolution, sizes and file types, as well as scanning, pre-press and print production.
  • Have an understanding of photography and an eye for photos that will convey necessary messages for design goals.
  • Comply with all HR policies including confidentiality and non-disclosure.
  • Assist with the implementation of company policies, standard operating procedures, and performance standards.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
  • Daily compliance with company policies including but not limited to; state/local regulation compliance, security protocols, access protocols, dress code, and work schedules.
  • Strong photo retouching, image compositing, and color correction skills is a plus.

Qualifications

  • Excellent grammatical, spelling, and proofreading abilities are preferred.
  • Excellent design skills and creativity.
  • Ability to take design direction.
  • Experience working within highly regulated industries such as cannabis, alcohol, pharmaceuticals, gaming, or healthcare is preferred.
  • Understanding of packaging regulations, legal disclaimers, and compliance requirements is a plus.
  • Must complete OSHA 10 Industry Training within 6 months of hire (company paid).
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing or graphic design; or two years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Skills
