Graphic Designer
Position Overview
Staff Connect Australia is seeking a creative, reliable, and detail-oriented Graphic Designer to support the day-to-day design requirements of our Australian and international clients. In this role, you'll create a variety of digital and print marketing materials while following established brand guidelines and collaborating with our marketing, operations, and client-facing teams. You'll have the opportunity to work on diverse projects across multiple industries, helping businesses communicate their brand effectively through high-quality visual content. The ideal candidate has a strong eye for design, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple design requests while consistently meeting deadlines.
Key Responsibilities
- Design social media graphics, digital advertisements, brochures, flyers, posters, banners, presentations, and other marketing materials.
- Create visual content for websites, blogs, email campaigns, and other digital platforms.
- Prepare presentations, proposals, reports, and other business documents.
- Follow client brand guidelines to ensure consistency across all creative assets.
- Edit and enhance photos, illustrations, and other visual elements.
- Prepare print-ready artwork when required.
- Work closely with the marketing, operations, and client-facing teams to understand project requirements.
- Manage multiple design requests while meeting agreed timelines.
- Organize design files and maintain version control.
- Revise designs based on client or internal feedback.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Graphic Designer or in a similar creative role.
- A strong understanding of typography, layout, colour theory, composition, and branding.
- Proficiency in commonly used graphic design software.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
- The ability to work independently in a remote environment.
- The ability to manage multiple projects and prioritise tasks effectively.
Preferred Design Tools
Candidates should be comfortable using some of the following:
- Design Software: Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe InDesign, Canva, Figma, Framer
- Productivity & Collaboration: Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, Slack, ClickUp, Trello, Asana, other similar project management platforms
Additional Skills (Preferred)
The following skills are advantageous but not essential:
- Basic video editing using CapCut, Adobe Premiere Pro, or similar software.
- Motion graphics or animation experience using Adobe After Effects or similar tools.
- Familiarity with AI-assisted creative tools and workflows.

- Portfolio Submission: Please submit a portfolio showcasing your previous graphic design work. Your portfolio should demonstrate your creativity, technical skills, and experience producing digital and/or print materials.
- Graphic Designer Practice Test: As part of our recruitment process, applicants are required to complete a Graphic Designer Practice Test. To request a copy of the practice test, please email with the subject "Graphic Designer Practice Test Request".
Applications will only be considered once both the portfolio and completed practice test have been submitted.

Technical Requirements
- A reliable computer capable of running professional graphic design software.
- A stable, high-speed internet connection.
- A quiet and professional work-from-home environment.
- A backup internet connection (preferred but not required).
Working Hours
- Full-time position (40 hours per week)
- Australian business hours (AEST/AEDT)
- Occasional flexibility may be required to accommodate client deadlines.
