Graphic Designer

Responsibilities

• Design print and digital marketing materials that consistently reflect established Flat Branch Home Loans brand standards.
• Effectively manage a diverse workload of print and digital design projects, balancing priorities and consistently meeting deadlines.
• Develop thoughtful design solutions that balance creativity, brand standards, and client needs.
• Review and proofread marketing materials for accuracy, consistency, and adherence to brand standards and compliance guidelines before final delivery.
• Work directly with Loan Officers and other internal clients to understand project goals, communicate expectations, and build positive working relationships across the organization.
• Maintain open communication throughout the entire process with marketing team members and leads.
• Continuously improve technical and design skills while staying informed on best practices and design trends.
• Demonstrate a willingness to learn and use emerging technologies, including AI-powered creative tools, to improve efficiency and support the development of marketing materials.
• Contribute to a collaborative team environment by supporting department initiatives and assisting teammates as needed.

Requirements

• 1-3 years of experience in a graphic design-oriented position or marketing field.
• Portfolio demonstrating strong design fundamentals.
• Proficiency with Adobe Creative Cloud (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, Acrobat), Microsoft Office (Word and PowerPoint), and Canva.
• Independent work style yet comfortable collaborating with others.
• Strong organizational, time management, and creative problem-solving skills with exceptional attention to detail.
• Enjoys working on a diversity of tasks and projects.
• Able to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
• Takes ownership of assigned projects and consistently produces high-quality work.
• Handles constructive criticism from clients and team; Provides thoughtful feedback to others.
• Demonstrates conceptual thoughtfulness and supportive communication in design.
• Strong, professional communication skills, with the ability to communicate clearly and effectively to a broad range of employee segments across the company.
