About the role

The Graphic Designer develops visually compelling and brand aligned creative designs that strengthen marketing, communications, fundraising, and organizational initiatives. This role manages a steady flow of design requests, producing high quality digital and print assets while ensuring a cohesive visual identity across all platforms and programs.

Responsibilities

  • Fulfill and organize marketing requests
  • Design and produce high-quality graphics for digital and print platforms
  • Maintain brand consistency across all visual communications
  • Collaborate with marketing, communications, and leadership teams on campaigns and projects
  • Prepare files for print production and coordinate with vendors as needed
  • Edit and enhance photos, illustrations, and multimedia content
  • Assist with website graphics and basic UI/UX design elements
  • Manage multiple projects while meeting deadlines and quality standards
  • Design high-quality print and electronic collateral
  • Aid with fundraising appeals, events, and digital fundraising
  • Ensure a cohesive brand identity across all digital platforms
  • Digitize and archive marketing materials from current and previous projects
  • Communicate consistently and effectively with senior leadership teams to inform and manage expectations
  • Stay current on design trends, tools, and best practices

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts or Marketing required
  • At least 2 years of professional graphic design experience required
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) required
  • Experience with Canva, PowerPoint, or other design tools required
  • Knowledge of print production and digital design standards required
  • Strong typography, layout, and color theory skills also required

Qualifications

  • Possess superior organizational and administrative skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities
  • Excellent computer skills in a Microsoft Windows environment
  • Ability to work independently and achieve high standards of productivity, achieving deadlines, and with superior product results
  • Strong calendaring, organizational, and document management skills are required
  • Proactive approach to solving problems and communicating to leadership
  • Knowledge of office management systems, procedures, and office equipment required
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to prioritize work
