About the role
The Graphic Designer will collaborate with Art Directors and account team members on multiple campaigns to produce and edit eye-catching, high-impact direct mail and other campaign materials. They will regularly meet tight deadlines for a diverse range of candidates running for office, find solutions to feedback that maintain strong layouts, branding, and design hierarchy, actively participate in visual concepts for mail, organize and maintain project files.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Art Directors and account team members on multiple campaigns to produce and edit eye-catching, high-impact direct mail and other campaign materials
- Regularly meet tight deadlines for a diverse range of candidates running for office
- Find solutions to feedback that maintain strong layouts, branding, and design hierarchy
- Actively participate in visual concepts for mail
- Organize and maintain project files
Requirements
- 3-5 years of experience with print design and art direction in an agency setting (or comparable environment)
- Experience with Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator
- Detail-oriented, efficient, organized, highly productive, and collaborative approach to work with strong time management skills
- Strong ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced work environment and work both independently and as part of a team
- Willingness to work extended hours, including nights and weekends, during peak periods
- Can adapt under pressure and quickly pivot priorities to meet last-minute deadlines
Qualifications
- Proven design expertise and a deep interest in politics
- Able to independently translate abstract messages into high-impact direct mail, canvassing literature, digital and social media ads and other creative products
Skills
- Editorial design experience
- Political campaign design experience

Schedule
This role is based in our New York, N.Y. office on a hybrid schedule of 3 days per week in the office, though remote candidates based in the United States may be considered.
